HMF Racing Can Am Outlander 1000/850 Dual Slip On (25-26) Installation Instructions

For Models: Outlander 1000 (2025-2026), Outlander 1000 XMR (2025-2026), Outlander 1000 MAX (2025-2026), Outlander 850 (2025-2026), Outlander 850 MAX (2025-2026), Outlander 850 XMR (2025-2026)

Removal

1. Beging by removeing the rear bumper and bumper support tubes.(See Figure #1)

2. Remove the rear shock heat shield and O2 sensor from the muffler assembly(See Figure #2)

3. Remove the Factory Muffler assembly by sliding it towards the rear of the vehicle and rotating it to get the inlet passed the shock.(See Figure #3)

Installation

1. Begin by installing the HMF Dual Performance Mounting bracket into the factory mounting points. (See Figure #4)

2. Using the supplied ( 2x m8-1.25x25 hex bolts, 4x 1/4" Flat Washers, 2x M8-1.25 Nylock nuts ) secure the Lower HMF Muffler (no badge) to the Mounting bracket.

3. Using the supplied ( 4x Long Neck Springs ) Install the HMF Mid Pipe between the factory Head Pipe and Lower HMF Muffler

(NOTE: When installing the Long Neck Springs make sure to orient the springs as shown in the picture with the spring hooks from the inside out) (See Figure #5)

4. Assemble the HMF Support Bracket using the supplied ( 2x Rubber mounts, Small Steal Spacer(See Figure #6)

5. Using the supplied ( M8-1.25x40, 2x 5/16" Fender Washers, M8-1.25 Nylock Nut, M6-1.0x20 Hex Bolt, #10 Flat Washer ) install the Support Bracket between the Dual Performance Bracket and and the Factory heat shield mount point(See Figure #7)

6. Using the remaining ( 2x M8-1.25x25, 4x 1/4" Flat Washers, 2x M8-1.25 Nylock Nuts ) install the Upper HMF Upper Muffler (with badge) By slipping the inlet onto the Mid Pipe and Mounting Bracket and reinstall the O2 sensor into the Mid Pipe(See Figure #8)

7. Secure the Upper and Lower Muffler assemblies to the Mid Pipe using the supplied ( 2x Short Springs )(See Figure #9)

8. Reinstall the Factory Shock heat shield and bumpers.(See Figure #10)
