Can Am Maverick X3 Tree Kickers Installation Instructions For Models: Maverick X3 (2017-2025)
1. Begin by locating the (3) dimples on the lower rocker panels on each side of the vehicle and drill small pilot holes.
2. Using a stepped drill bit or 1-3/4" hole saw finish drilling out the Rock Slider mounting points. the top rear hole will be perpendicular to the surface and the 2 lower holes will be a slight downward angle. (Note: due to the possible factory misalignment of the body panels to the vehicle frame it is recommended to start with a smaller hole and use something like a dremel tool with a drum sander to center the hole over the mounting points on the frame)(See Figure #1)

3. On the upper rear mount holes there will be excess plastic that is perpendicular to the hole that will need to be trimmed to allow the upper mount to meet the frame. (Note: this excess plastic can be reached through the rear wheel well openings and trimmed with a sharp knife or small reciprocating saw)
4. Next Slide the driver and passenger seats foreword and locate the upper rear mount knockouts. these can be cut using a sharp knife of small reciprocating saw.(See Figure #2)

2. Locate the interior middle rock slider mounts beside the passenger and drivers seats and preinstall the supplied (2x M10-1.5x70 Hex Bolts, 2x 3/8" USS Washers, and 2x Aluminum Coved Washers).
3. With the remaining (2x M10-1.5x70 Hex Bolts, 2x 3/8" USS Washers, and 2x Aluminum Coved Washers) pre install them into the upper rear mounts located behind the passenger and driver seats were you previously removed the knocktout covers.(See Figure #4)
